Seasonal Burn Permits
To renew a seasonal burn permit you must come to the fire station with a copy of last years seasonal permit. As long as the location of the fire has not changed you may receive a new permit.

All burn permits are free through the Fire Department.
Burn Permit Rules and Tips
- Must be homeowner or have written permission
- Be cautious of wind and dry conditions
- Can’t burn any treated wood
- Fires must be attended at all times
- Fires must be extinguished when unattended
- All camp fires and brush piles must have a permit
- Including all size moveable fire pits
- While having a fire you must have a way to extinguish
- Examples water hose or dirt
- Category 1 fires must be 25 feet from structures and
- Category 2 fires must be 50 feet from structures
