About Us
The Cemetery Trustees have been elected to oversee and maintain the public cemeteries within the Town of Brentwood. It is the desire of the Cemetery Trustees to provide the residents of Brentwood a well-groomed and peaceful country cemetery where those who visit will benefit from a calm and satisfying experience.
The Cemetery Trustees follow the statutes in RSA 289.
Meetings
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 5:00pm at the Town Office, Sanborn Room.

Membership
The Cemetery Trustees has a total of 6 members:
- 3 voting members are elected to serve three-year terms, on a staggered basis, per RSA 289:6
(Trustees elect a chairperson and a bookkeeper each year. The chairperson and the bookkeeper may be the same member.)
- Up to 2 alternates may be recommended by Trustees and approved by the Selectboard for a one-year term
- The Superintendent of Cemeteries is appointed by the Cemetery Trustees and acts as an advisory member
