About Us
The Board hears the appeals from any order, requirement, decision or determination made by an administrative official and administers special provisions in the ordinance dealing with variances and special exceptions.
Meetings
Meetings are typically held on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00pm at the Town Office, if an application is received.
Membership
The Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) has a total of up to 9 members:
- 5 voting members are appointed by the Selectboard, to serve three-year terms, on a staggered basis
- 1 voting member is a representative from the Selectboard
- up to 3 alternates are appointed by the Selectboard, to serve a one-year term
Future Open Seats
Residents with a prior interest in land use matters or land use development, such as real estate agent, attorney, municipal planning or related technical field such as engineering, surveying and environmental sciences are encouraged to apply.
