Trails Comm - Comm Pg ImageAbout Us

The Trails Committee is a group of volunteers willing to help monitor and maintain trail systems in the Town of Brentwood, located on both town-owned and privately-owned land. The committee works closely with the Conservation Commission and the Recreation Department in the planning of trails.

Members are involved in:
• organizing and performing regular trail maintenance and improvements.
• funding projects is mostly from donations and grants.
• providing a communication line for both the landowner and trail user.

Meetings
Currently meetings and trails events are held on as needed basis. Regular monthly meetings will be established when there are at least 3 members on the committee.

Membership & Volunteers

The committee is looking to grow its membership and volunteer base. We are seeking new committee members as well as add to our current list of volunteers willing to donate their time and expertise. Current members are eager to share their knowledge and training with community volunteers. The planning for more advanced trail improvements would benefit from mentors experienced in hardscape, building structures, mapping and signs.
