When processing vehicle transactions at the office, you MUST have either the renewal letter we sent you, an old registration, a title, MCO, or dealer CTA. Going forward, we are not able to look up your registrations for you. If you do not have any of these documents, you may purchase a duplicate registration for $23.00 per registration.
If you are transferring plates to a new/used vehicle, you MUST have the current registration for the plates you are transferring. The state requires that we return that registration to them. If you do not have the current registration, you may purchase a duplicate for $23.00.
You must also have a photo ID with you.
