2026 School Board Recount Results
One hand counted ballot was not considered an “overvote”. A third person was written in but scratched off. The machine considered it an overvote but the intent of the voter was clear. That resulted in Katie Coppola and Melissa Litchfield each gaining one vote. Due to the tie between Jim McIntyre and Katie Coppola, per RSA 669:36, a coin toss was performed and Katie Coppola was the winner.
